The Miyun Dam is the largest in the northern part of China and it was built to stop the Chao and Bai rivers, which are in the upper reaches of the Chaobai river between the mountains of the Yanshan. In order to secure drinking water for the people living around this dam and the citizens of Beijing, we will plant trees here to create a forest that will be a watershed and preserve both the soil and water.
