Mukawacho is a town comprised of 80% woodlands, and its main industry is the agriculture, forestry and fisheries that draw upon the region's rich nature. They cherish their natural environment and seek to develop their town in harmony with the forest, rivers and sea. Blessings of the forest protect the rivers, and pure rivers nurture the ocean's bounty. By protecting the forest, it's also possible to protect the rivers and ocean. We have initiated a 3-year plan based on the concept "Let's Protect Our Forests and Fishes".
