Secretary General of OISCA International

 

Mr. Yasuaki NAGAISHI, Secretary General of OISCA International joined OISCA International in 1979. Over the years, he has accumulated rich experiences in overseas development cooperation, such as coordinating a variety of projects among the local governments, UN Agencies and international agents in the Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Myanmar.

Organization for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement (OISCA), is one of General consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nation (ECOSOC) and is promoting various ecologically sustainable development projects in 32 countries and territories. As the present Secretary General of OISCA International, Mr. Nagaishi has a strong commitment to the projects, such as rural and community development, environmental conservation and capacity building all over the world.

In 2010, OISCA International signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (SCBD). Mr. Nagaishi developed a cooperative relationship between OISCA’s “Children’s Forest Program” which supports environmental education and experiential learning of children and youth around the world, and the SCBD’s Green Wave promoted, and to promote educational activities for youth and children. In addition to the “Children’s Forest Program”, he is dedicated to the training local personnel and promoting of the practical biodiversity conservation.
