Aiming to be a shopping mall that can enrich the life of Vietnamese

Aeon Mall Tan Phu Celadon―the region’s largest shopping mall with a parking space for 4,000 motorcycles

Aeon Mall Tan Phu Celadon opens, marking Aeon’s entry into Vietnam

Aeon Tan Phu Celadon supermarket offers a wide range of general consumer items.

On January 11, 2014, Aeon Mall Tan Phu Celadon opened, representing the Group’s first-ever emergence in Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This is the third Asian market, after Malaysia and China, that Aeon has developed in expanding its shopping mall overseas, which is being promoted as part of the shift to Asian Markets initiative, a key growth strategy laid out in the Aeon Group Medium-term Management Plan (FY2011 - FY2013). The new mall houses around 120 tenant shops and restaurants organized in five sections (apparel, retail speciality store, food, amusement, service), centering on the Aeon Tan Phu Celadon Store, the core General Merchandising Store. The Store has introduced local products, Aeon’s private brand, Topvalu items and other overseas clothing brands, with a focus on quality and value, hoping to help local customers access new lifestyles. On the grand opening day, the mall was enveloped by an air of excitement of visitors, including many waiting in long lines to buy sushi and other Japanese foods. Aeon will expand the mall operation to other locations in Vietnam, aiming to contribute to the better life of the people in the country in the long term.
